Sajda by RIG-PRO (“the App”) is an Android application that provides prayer times, adhan reminders, and a Qibla compass. This document describes what data the App processes and how.
The App determines your position (via your device's GPS, or coordinates you enter manually), calculates the daily prayer times and the direction to the Kaaba in Makkah locally on your device, and shows them on screen. It can post a local notification (the adhan reminder) at each prayer time.
The App accesses your device location to compute accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. This location is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted, uploaded, stored off the device, or shared with us or any third party. If you prefer not to grant location access, you can enter your coordinates manually and the App works the same way.
None. The App has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no telemetry. Because we do not collect data off your device, we do not share, sell, rent, or transfer any data to any third party.
To work offline, the App saves the following locally on your device only: your settings (calculation method, language, theme), your last known location, saved locations, prayer-tracking marks, and the tasbih counter. This never leaves your device and is removed if you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
The App does not require an internet connection to compute prayer times or Qibla, and it does not send your location or any other data over the network.
The App requests no camera, microphone, contacts, or external-storage permissions.
The App does not knowingly collect data from any user, including children.
If this ever changes, we will update this document and the “Last updated” date above.
